Individual therapy

When we have the courage to walk into our story and own it, we get to write the ending.

Humanistic Psychotherapy: A Safe Space to Be You

I offer humanistic therapy, a warm and collaborative approach that centers on you—your feelings, values, experiences, and potential. Instead of focusing on what’s ‘wrong,’ this approach begins with the belief that you are already whole and capable of growth. By reconnecting you with your inner resources, you can gain deeper self-understanding and live more authentically.

A deep therapeutic relationship is essential for meaningful change. When you feel genuinely valued, understood, and not judged, a trusting foundation is created—providing the safe space needed for true healing and personal growth. As such, I work hard to create strong relationships with my clients, providing the conditions for healing and lasting therapeutic change to occur.

Who do I work with for individual therapy?

I welcome enquiries from anyone (aged 18 or over) who needs support and feels I may be the right therapist for them. I have experience of supporting clients with the following challenges and experiences:

Discover a path to growth rooted in self-acceptance and authenticity.

At the heart of person-centred therapy is the belief that you already hold the wisdom and inner resources needed for growth, healing, and change. My role is not to direct or diagnose, but to walk alongside you—to offer a warm, accepting, and non-judgmental space where you can begin to reconnect with yourself in an honest and meaningful way.

In our work together, you’ll be met with empathy, respect, and genuine presence. This is your space to speak freely, explore what matters to you, and show up just as you are—without pressure or expectation. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, low self-worth, grief, identity questions, or simply feeling lost or stuck, we’ll move at your pace, focusing on what feels most important in each moment.

As our therapeutic relationship develops, you may find yourself beginning to trust your own voice more deeply—feeling less bound by others’ expectations and more in touch with what feels true and right for you. Growth, in this sense, doesn’t come from being “fixed” but from being fully seen, heard, and accepted—perhaps for the first time.

Humanistic therapy can support healing and growth in the following ways:

  • Deep self-understanding. Therapy offers you a space to reflect on your thoughts, emotions, needs, and past experiences. This often leads to greater clarity and self-awareness, which are powerful foundations for change.
  • Emotional healing through empathy. Therapy can help you to feel truly heard, understood, and accepted. It creates the safety needed to process pain, let go of shame, and begin healing from difficult life experiences.
  • Increased self-acceptance. Therapy nurtures self-compassion and helps you challenge negative self beliefs. Over time, you are likely to feel more confident, grounded, and accepting of who you are-
  • Empowerment and personal growth. By helping you tune into your values and inner wisdom, therapy supports you in making choices that align with your true self, rather than being informed by external pressure or past conditioning.
